What does the Platform Fee of ₹2,250 cover?

The Platform Fee covers administrative facilitation and Lawyer coordination only. It does not include the Lawyer's professional fee, the Government/Registry filing fee, or any legal service. All are separate and payable additionally.

Is this a government website?

No. TrademarkCounselIndia.org is a private administrative facilitation platform. Not affiliated with the Trade Marks Registry or any government authority. We connect you with independent trademark Lawyers.

Who will handle my trademark application?

An independent Lawyer empanelled on the Platform will contact you, advise on class and documents, and file the application in their professional capacity. The Lawyer is not an employee of the Platform.

Will my application be filed without my approval?

No. You must review and give written approval of the trademark name, class, and application details before the Lawyer proceeds to file. No application is filed without your consent.

Do I need multiple classes for products and services both?

Yes, generally. Different trademark classes apply to goods and services. If your business covers both, multiple classes may be required. The Lawyer will advise on the appropriate class(es).
